the artist
 

  Jenna Campea, a professional abstract artist, specializes in textured minimalist shapes. Her artwork evokes a sense of repetition and evolution of emotional state abstracted into forms. Graduating OCAD U drawing and painting program, Jenna spent her third year studying in Florence, Italy.

Now in 2024 she draws inspiration from her personal journey of fertility, the series reflects what grieving process was like for her three consecutive times. The constant repetition of loss and grief, then finding strength within.

Jenna is presenting these works to raise awareness about miscarriages and to disrupt the stigma associated with them. She also aims to highlight St. Joseph's Hospital and the exceptional care they offer.

Jenna hopes to further this collection and explore the next stages of life after grief at her home studio located in Etobicoke, Ontario.
